About Big Feelings Little Hearts

Welcome to Big Feelings Little Hearts LLC, a heart-centered children’s brand created to help young children understand their emotions, build confidence, and grow into emotionally strong, compassionate individuals.

Founded by educator and psychology professor Tysheema Burrell, M.S. Psychylogy, Big Feelings Little Hearts was created from a deep understanding that emotional skills are just as important as academic skills. Children experience big feelings every day—but they often need gentle guidance, supportive tools, and safe spaces to understand those feelings.

Our stories, music, and educational resources are designed especially for children ages 3–8, helping them learn how to recognize their emotions, express themselves in healthy ways, and develop confidence from within.

Our mission is to nurture emotionally healthy children by providing engaging books, songs, and learning tools that teach emotional awareness, self-love, and confidence in ways children can understand and remember.

We believe that when children learn to understand their feelings, they develop the foundation for lifelong emotional strength, resilience, and well-being.

We envision a world where every child knows their feelings matter, their voice matters, and they are enough just as they are.
